FREDDIE MERCURY: SUS ÚLTIMAS GRABACIONES

Volver a los héroes de mi juventud es una manera de tomar fuerzas.  En mi edad de mocedades tuve muchos héroes, en varios campos, como el ideológico, el filosófico, el artístico, etc. Hoy quiero hablar de uno de ellos: Freddie Mercury (Zanzivar, 5 de sept. 1946-Londres, 24 Nov. 1991), a quien admiré y admiro todavía por su creatividad florida y original, así como por su fuerza interpretativa.

Cuando escuché a Queen por primera vez,  lo que captó decididamente primero mi atención fue esa voz líder inconfundible de Freddie. 

Hace poco, mirando un extracto de un documental sobre los últimas días de Mercury, recupero en mí esa sensación que siempre tuve sobre él: la música era su vida, su pasión, nada lo llenaba más que ese arte hecho de sonidos,corazón y cerebro.

Queen fue uno de los mejores grupos de rock porque sus cuatro miembros eran muy lúcidos con sus instrumentos y además los cuatro eran compositores; pero me atrevo a decir que el 50% del grupo lo era Freddie Mercury; su energía musical la llevó hasta el límite, casi hasta su último respiro de vida.

Este día los invito a mirar este interesante y conmovedor vídeo sobre los últimos días del grandioso Freddie Mercury. Además, el vídeo de la canción These are the days of our lives.
