NO PUEDO VER A NADIE. Los Bee Gees. (Cinco versiones)

«I can´t see nobody» es una canción de los Bee Gees, escrita por Robin y Barry Gibb en 1966 y lanzada por primera vez en Inglaterra en 1967 en el lado B del sencillo «El desastre minero de Nueva York, 1941», y luego fue incluida en su tercer LP.

Esta canción es una de esas que, por motivos que no logro descifrar, me conmueve mucho; puede ser todo, la melodía, la armonía, el arreglo orquestal, la peculiar voz de Robin…  las voces de los tres Bee Gees en el estribillo… no sé…  Es quizás sólo una bella canción de amor, como pocas.

Por eso este día quiero compartir con ustedes cinco versiones de esa misma canción, empezando con la voz poderosa de la croata Josipa Lisac (grabada en 1967); luego escucharemos la versión original de los Bee Gees (1967); después podremos disfrutar de una versión bastante original de 1969 ejecutada por el dúo inglés conformado por Graham Bonnet y Trevor Gordon, The Marbles; luego escucharemos una versión casera, podríamos decir, pero interesante, y con un solo muy bonito de guitarra, interpretada por Robert y Deborah Carothers; y finalmente, para cerrar con broche de oro, podremos ver y escuchar a una de las grandes del jazz, la estadounidense Nina Simone, con su propia versión de 1968 de «I can´t see nobody».
